AHTC Campus
De AHTC Campus (Amsterdam Health & Technology Campus) is gevestigd in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, midden in het Life Sciences District van Amsterdam. Deze duurzame campus omvat 11 vastgoedobjecten, variërend van kleinere gebouwen tot grootschalige complexen, en een nieuw ontwikkelingsproject dat de innovatieve omgeving verder zal uitbreiden.

Life Sciences District
De campus richt zich sterk op organisaties in de gezondheids- en technologiesector en werkt nauw samen met toonaangevende partners in het Amsterdamse Life Sciences District, waaronder het Amsterdams Universitair Medisch Centrum (Amsterdam UMC) en de gemeente.
De goede bereikbaarheid is een ander belangrijk voordeel van de campus: deze is uitstekend verbonden met het openbaar vervoer (bus, trein en metro) en met de auto. De campus ligt in een snelgroeiend gebied met gemengde functies en biedt een levendige omgeving waar wonen, werken en recreatie samenkomen. Dit maakt het een aantrekkelijke en toekomstbestendige locatie voor innovatieve bedrijven.

geïnspireerd door grote denkers
Elk gebouw op AHTC draagt de naam van een vooraanstaande Nobelprijswinnaar – een eerbetoon aan de geest van innovatie, ontdekking en uitmuntendheid die onze gemeenschap kenmerkt.
01. ADA
Het in 2004 gebouwde Ada bestaat uit vier torens die laboratoria, kantoren en klinieken onder één dak huisvesten. Het gebouw, dat oorspronkelijk een LEED Gold-label behaalde, maakt gebruik van een geavanceerd Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (ATES)-systeem voor duurzame verwarming en koeling.
De gerenoveerde lobby en receptie zorgen voor een gastvrije eerste indruk, terwijl het ruime atrium, dat vaak gebruikt wordt voor symposia en bedrijfsevenementen, fungeert als een levendige ontmoetingsplek. Ada biedt tevens een hoogwaardig vergadercentrum, toegankelijk voor zowel huurders als andere gebruikers van de campus.
Uitgebreide faciliteiten versterken de aantrekkingskracht van het gebouw, waaronder een ondergrondse parkeergarage met een groot aantal laadstations, een beveiligde fietsenstalling, het bedrijfsrestaurant en een zonnig buitenterras. Al deze voorzieningen samen maken van Ada een hoogwaardig en duurzaam gebouw binnen de campus.
02. ROSALYN
Rosalyn, oorspronkelijk gebouwd in 1976 en gerenoveerd in 2020, kenmerkt zich door een groot glazen atrium en een mix van kantoor- en laboratoriumruimtes. Huurders hebben toegang tot vergaderruimtes, een receptie, een buitenterras en een dakterras op de vierde verdieping. Parkeren is mogelijk op eigen terrein en in de ondergrondse parkeergarage.
03. DONNA
Donna, een modern kantoorgebouw dat in 2005 werd voltooid, kenmerkt zich door de dubbele glazen gevel en de beveiligde ondergrondse parkeergarage. Op de begane grond biedt een koffiehoek met zitgelegenheid een uitnodigende ruimte, terwijl het buitenterras extra ruimte biedt.
04. FRANCES
Frances, voltooid in 2000, is een kantoorgebouw met een grote parkeerplaats. Op de begane grond bevinden zich een lobby en Brasserie Bar Central, een populaire plek voor ontbijt, lunch en diner. Daarnaast zijn er op elke verdieping zitgelegenheden.
05. ELISABETH
Elisabeth, gebouwd in 1994 en volledig gerenoveerd in 2024, is een hoogwaardig ML3-laboratoriumgebouw waarin elke verdieping laboratorium- en kantoorruimte combineert. Het pand beschikt over een glazen atrium met receptie, een lichte en groene lobby, ruime parkeergelegenheid en diverse zitgelegenheden buiten. Op de zesde verdieping biedt een dakterras met vergaderruimte een ideale setting voor bijeenkomsten.
06. JENNIFER
Het Jennifer gebouw, voltooid in 2000, is een modern kantoorgebouw met meerdere huurders. Het pand beschikt over een uitnodigende entree met een receptie. Huurders kunnen, in overleg, gebruikmaken van de faciliteiten op de begane grond, waaronder een restaurant en een volledig uitgerust vergadercentrum.
07. CAROL
Gebouwd in 2004 en volledig gerenoveerd in 2021, inclusief de installatie van een gloednieuw klimaatbeheersingssysteem. De ruimtes zijn voorzien van vloerbedekking en plafondeilanden met energiezuinige ledverlichting. Het gebouw biedt een mix van kantoor- en laboratoriumruimtes en beschikt over een uitnodigende entree met een vergaderruimte.
08. LINDA
Het pand, gebouwd in 2001, genaamd Linda, ondergaat momenteel een complete renovatie. De casco-indeling biedt flexibiliteit en kan worden ingericht als kantoor- of laboratoriumruimte, waardoor het uitermate geschikt is voor gebruik door één huurder. Een grote parkeerplaats aan de achterzijde van het pand verbetert de bereikbaarheid.
09. BARBARA
Barbara is een pand met één huurder, momenteel in gebruik door de Nederlandse Fotovakschool. Met zijn glazen gevel en ruime parkeergelegenheid heeft het gebouw een open en toegankelijk karakter.
10. DOROTHY
Dorothy is een modern kantoorgebouw dat in 2003 is opgeleverd. Het pand beschikt over een representatieve entree met receptie en een beveiligde ondergrondse parkeergarage voor zowel auto’s als fietsen. Bovendien is het uitgerust met moderne voorzieningen, zoals ledverlichting en klimaatbeheersingssystemen, die bijdragen aan een comfortabele en efficiënte werkomgeving.
11. MARIE
Het Marie-gebouw biedt een mix van kantoor- en laboratoriumruimtes en is in 2021 volledig gerenoveerd. De buitengevel is vernieuwd en geïsoleerd, inclusief nieuwe raamkozijnen met energiezuinig glas. De gebouwspecificaties omvatten LED-verlichting met daglicht- en bewegingssensoren, een metalen klimaatplafond (verwarming en koeling), ventilatie (in- en afvoer) per rastermodule en automatische deuren voor de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Het gebouw beschikt over een eigen restaurant met terras aan het water, een bar en een vergaderruimte op de begane grond.

Paalbergweg in the AHTC campus, and I am very enthusiastic about this beautiful location in Amsterdam and the collaboration with DutchRE.DutchRE is investing heavily in the further development of the neighbourhood. In recent years, for example, there has been a lot of development in the area near the AMC. The area’s specific medical character, many homes and plans for further development really appealed to me. My practice is located on the ground floor of the Elisabeth building and has been beautifully renovated in collaboration with DutchRE. The other floors have also been beautifully renovated and certainly offer space and lab spaces for all kinds of interested parties.
The potential of this developing area, where so much medical knowledge comes together, is evident to me. In addition, the plans to build a large number of houses in the neighbourhood in the near future make it particularly attractive for my practice to be able to work in this location. I am convinced that many more companies will follow, recognising that this unique location in Amsterdam is the best place in our country for medical companies.
